Who We Are

jole rider Merriott is a branch of jole rider based down in South Somerset, in the village of Merriott.  Formed 2 two years ago, jole rider Merriott has supplied jole rider with just under 200 bikes, all ready to go to Africa together with tools, spares and funding for shipping.

We meet in AJ’s garage on Tuesday nights, for Beer and Bike night. Every week we have a bottle or two of the week’s guest ale, put the world right and mend a bike or two…..

Hence there’s a child somewhere in Africa who gets a bike and a better education a few months down the line. We like that.

Old Barn Owl Inn in Westport: Evening of live entertainment - a Michael Buble and George Michael tribute band plus food. Raffle proceeds to jole rider.

Tri UK bike shop, Lyde Road in Yeovil - An all day bike collection event similar to the events at Tescos Jole Rider has done in Wiltshire.
